  • Events (pick 1 or 2 to highlight)

    • Dinner & Dialogue: This monthly interfaith gathering for students, faculty, staff, and members of the greater Burlington community is an opportunity to explore one’s own core values and those of others over a tasty meal.

      • Diner & Dialogue series this year will focus on "What is Freedom?"

    • Interfaith Student Leadership Retreat: This off-campus retreat is an opportunity to build community, develop skills for having interfaith conversations, and to reflect upon one’s own religious and/or philosophical worldview and that of others.

    • Festival of Light & Dark: Held each December, this is a special event exploring the significance of "light" and "dark" within the various religious, philosophical, and cultural celebrations and rituals that fall during the transition of seasons.

  • Collaboration with Hillel and our Catholic Center & 12 associated organizations for different spirituality practices

  • Students can also get involved by working in the Center, participating in an internship, chatting with the staff, or just hanging out in the space!

Additional optional talking points

  • The Interfaith Center hosted their very first Creemee Truck Welcome Back Party at the beginning of 2019. They parked anice cream truck from Palmer Lane Maple in the front yard (arguably the best maple creemees in the area) and folks could come on over for a free creemee!

AdvoCat Stories

  • One day in my first year I was doing homework in the Interfaith Center with some friends I was in a club with, and Laura who runs the Interfaith Center walked in and asked us all of our opinions about a spiritual topic she was doing work on, and we ended up talking for two hours with a bunch of random people who happened to walk in, some of which I'm still friends with today! -Steve Carlson
